Hello - In 2000 I purchased a double Viking gas ovens ( Model # VGDO271SS) with supposed induction broiler element using an electronic gas ignitor. This part has failed twice in seven years, and the service tech now says the insulation on the wiring is so damaged by the heat, that it also has to be replaced. This Viking product was promoted as a "commercial-grade" oven, yet it has not performed up to the standard that I was lead to believe. I now see that Consumer Reports has recently listed Viking ovens in the "worst repair record" category.

Have other homeowner with Viking ovens had this same problem?
