WHEN YOU CANCEL, BROMALITE DOES NOT TELL YOU TO CALL FIT FACTORY DIRECTLY IN ORDER TO NOT BE CHARGED THEIR MEMBERSHIP!!! I called this company tonight after reading the "hook" Bromalite uses to forward confidential credit information to Fit Factory for an unauthorized membership. I spoke with a young woman named "Margo" who initially did not seem to understand what a "cancellation" meant, and proceeded to offer me an "extended trial period". When I very firmly stated that the only thing I wanted was a cancellation number, I was placed on hold for a moment, then given a cancellation that begins with three alphabets and is followed by eight numbers. Bromalite gave me three numbers, an alphabet, and two additional numbers.She assured me that this cancelled my membership and that there would be "no future charges". According to her, at the point of sale with Bromalite, even the "trial offer", consumers "authorized" Bromalite to forward all credit information to Fit Factory for automatic membership. CAUTION: If you do not cancel Fit Factory directly, you WILL be charged their membership. Bromalite does NOT inform you of that if you cancel with them!! I have contacted my bank, and I would advise anyone else who's be caught in this SCAM to do the same.
