I was a patient at Brookdale University Hospital in Brooklyn, NY on 10-30-06. I was in the coronary care unit. I received practically no care, coronary or otherwise. My roomate was deranged, and yelled continuously. I was across from the nurses lounge, more properly the bar and lounge. The noise, laughter, and chatter was unbelievable. I pushed the call button, and pulled out all my monitor leads, without any response.Some nurses supervisor came by the next day and took notes, but never furnished me a promised copy.
