I have shopped at Bruno's, and have been a very loyal customer, for many years. I usually use my debit card when making purchases, but on Friday, Feb 5th, I decided to write a check. The check was refused. I was totally humilated!!! I had plenty of money in the checking account, and went ahead and used my debit card to pay for the bill ... $212. We have a new Publix grocery store in the area, and I am going to give them a try. I formerly worked for the DA's worthless check unit and know the problem stores had with bad check writers; but, the system should be able to figure out if the check was good. Shame on you.
