I was told that my credit card company had enrolled me into a sweepstakes and that I would get free magazines and a free trip as well, so of course I was excited and wanted to confirm my info.

The first person- Sara already had my address info so I confirmed and was then transfered to her "Supervisor". There he asked whether or not my card had a middle initial and what the expiration date was. I immediately became suspicious... Wouldn't someone associated with Visa already know what my full name is and the number on the card? So I asked if I could have their number and would call back after I confirmed with Chase Bank and Visa that this was a legitimate sweepstakes. The "supervisor" became upset that I would doubt their company and that I should check them out on the Better Business Bureau (they had a D- rating!). After his little bit of sass I hung up.

Don't fall for this! Unfortunately there seems to be a legal loophole that leaves Budget Readers in business...
