Recently I had bad experience with Budget rental car in Anchorage, Alaska. At first I didn’t know why they charged $100 dollar to my credit card, so I call them up and ask them what they are for. Budget rental car explain to me it was cleaning fee for smoking in rental car. I told them I wasn’t smoking in the rental car, but their responds was they found evident of cigarette ashes and smells, so I ask them what happens if car smell smoke even though I didn’t smoke inside of car and reply was they will still charge $100 dollar. I am wondering what happens if non smoker get $100 cleaning fee because car smell cigarette? I write this because people who renting car from Anchorage Alaska Budget at airport should aware of this. I am not the only one who had bad experience with Budget rental car in Anchorage Alaska airport location but different issue.
