Was looking to make some extra money working from home. Checked out the site and thought it had potential. Agreed to the $2.95 charge and was expecting an informational DVD to arrive by mail. Thought nothing of it until exactly 7 days later a charge for $81.32 showed up on my bank records.

Called the number associated with the charge and was told that where I authorized the credit card for $2.95, there was disclaimer print stating that I had access to the website for 7 days and then I'd be charged the full rate of $81.32 for complete access to the website. When I asked about cancelling the membership, I was given a cancellation number.

When I asked about a refund, it was stated that none are given. Just to be sure I was clear I asked what would happen if I didn't want to cancel and they said I'd be charged the monthly rate of $81.32! I have until the end of the month to use the website which claims to be a tutorial for how to work from home and make money. In reality, it's a website that claims to be free and shows you how to buy the perfect franchise. So I'd like to know why I have to pay for something that's free and what it is that I am paying for exactly?
