resale
I am not receiving any information re selling my timeshare through buyatimeshare.com, specifically Chris Murphy. When I call and ask for Chris Murphy, is this a code for scam?

customer service not a priority
Arrogant beyond belief. They refuse to return phone calls or answer emails, and justify it by saying they have over 100, 000 calls a week. Their core values are only about volume; they care nothing about courtesy or customer service. The customers' time has no value or respect to them.

disrespect
This is a high pressure sales tactic company that will insult you verbally when debating the points with you. If you wont buy from them they have a smart answer the reply with. When I told the man about a timeshare i sold he replied if i would1ve gone with him he wouldve got 2k more on the sale. I said it was all supposition when he retorted I didnt know what i was talking about.

scam
The owner pressures you to sell your timeshare with them.He gets you to boost the price of your timeshare so high it will never sell. Here is the fine print ""Vacation Property Resales, Inc.will refund your advertising fee if your property is sold any other way within 15% of your original asking price upon proof of sale."" So if you want $80 per point for your timeshare he will push you to list it for $96.00 full knowing no one will buy it at that price.
You sell it for $79.00 and under your stuck. He also listed the unit wrong.I had 4 time shares(four different contracts) and i would not give him $890 per timeshare to list so he said he would do me a "favor" and do the four listings for the price of one.Instead of four listings he did one which didn't make any sense combing all my points together. CANCEL WITHIN 3 DAYS of signing and he should return the money>Good luck with that..
No to worry people, Visa is on to him, they have gotten a lot of complaints. Visa is refunding my money 7 months later.Worthy every penny.

High pressure sales
We were told we had to sign up right away cause there was a backlog of renters looking in Orlando because a convention was coming and we have had our unit for rent for 3 years, were charged almost $700.00 dollars and never heard from anyone, not the company or any interested renters.
We were deceived and given fictitious statistics (promise to rent within 6 weeks at 99.9% surety).
The sales manager stayed on the phone with us for almost two hours till we caved!
Don't get fooled, you'll never hear from anyone once your credit card is scanned...or should I say Scammed!

Will not refund my money
Contacted buyatimeshare.com to sell my holiday club membership, went through the confirmation process to pay for my advertisement.

After doing further reasearch on the company I decided i did not want this company to sell my timeshare.

Contacted them through many heated phone calls and e-mails on the same day of the purshase to cancell the advertisement and to recieve my refund.

Quincey Browne informed me he was the Manager of the company and under no circumstances will i be recieving a refund and because he gave me discounted price the terms on the contract do not apply.

The contract I agreed to and Signed stated that if you contacted buyatimeshare.com in writing with in 72 hrs of the advertisement being advertised I would be entitled to a refund.

false claims
This company made promises that they can sell my timeshare within 7 months. All they did was take my$649.00 and posted my timeshare on their website. That was the end of that. Nothing else has happened. Beware of this scam artist of a company!!!

sales fraud
Do not even give these people a minute of your time - my curiosity cost me almost $1000. And for what - nothing -

an online ad - oh they say they spend $60, 000 per month promoting - if you include thier salaries and bonuses - maybe - the actual cost of online ads is so incredibly many times less -

These kinds have been able to find the loopholes that allow them to exploit people at the worst time - when people need to sell – most are desperate and trying to unload a monthly or annual expense – and the last thing anyone needs in another fee to pay for receiving nothing in return... (oh - you will get an ineffective ad posted on a website - but results - nada)

I am racking up my experience with Quincy Browne as “tuition” – but please – if at all possible – do not fall for the smooth talk and promises – they only want your money...

Hang up the phone – save your money – I sure wish I had...

Does not want to refund unsold timeshare money
I have paid $1, 650 AU to buyatimeshare. com to sell my timeshare. It has been over 3 months and they do not inform you as to what is going on. Upon enquiry, they tell you that it is too soon to be sold. They do not keep you updated and they do not want to refund the money to you. If there is a way out of this situation, please help.
