Hi my name is jitender singh and i am from india currently in iceland, I transfered around 480 euro on 11 june 2008 to one of my bank account in india and i choose byr bank to do so.
I paid them 800 ISK as service charges.
But even after almost one month i didnt receive the money in my india bank account, And when i ask byr bank about the same they told me that they have no information regarding the same if i have to get information i have to pay 1200ISK for the same.
Then i told them to give me a TT copy which they charged me 200ISk more just for a TT receipit.
And i sent the receipt to bank in india and they told that they have not received any transfer.
Then i told Byr bank to cancel the transfer and they will charge me 1200ISK + some money for the same which is really very unfair as i it is mistake of the bank and they will charge the same from me.

I will leave iceland by 28 july and when i asked that will i get the money back by then, they told they cannot confirm whether i will get the money bank or not.
