I was notified by Cadillac of a safety recall on my car concerning the fuel line. I was told to take it to a dealer and have it inspected and repaired at NO COST. I did this and was told by the dealer that in replacing the fuel line there is a possibility they would have to replace the fuel pump and i would have to pay for that part of the repair. I then contacted Cadillac and was told the same thing. WHAT A RIP OFF, i didn't create this problem, and am on a fixed income and can't really afford the repair bill, plus i think it is a dangerous situation that needs to be taken care of by Cadillac. I guess my next car will be Japanese.
