The mattress I originally inquired about was a “firm luxury” (retail $1800), which I had tested in a store and liked very much. The ebay auction listing was posted by "enchantedmattress". I ordered a BeautyRest Luxury Firm mattress from CallAMattress (aka Aleasa Zuckerberg, Heath Zuckerberg, Millionaire Mattress, CallAMattress, Metro Mattress, Big Apple Mattress Co, and Internet Mattress).
I was steered away from ebay and was offered a discount to charge the purchase to my credit card, which showed up as a charge from Internet Mattress.
When the mattress arrived I was surprised to see a different mattress than what was pictured online, the mattress that was shipped is a “Recharge” model with no tags or required federal info. The mattress I received was immediately recognized as a cheap knock off, as the mattress was very visibly different (thinner, patterns, model identification) as well as the feel and lack of support in the mattress. The mattress received was no where near the quality of a Beautyrest, has no support and is already, after 6 weeks, buckling and sagging.
The seller has been unresponsive to multiple inquiries to return the mattress.
The manufacturer can not verify the mattress since the federal tags, required by law, were not present on the mattress. I had a local retailer come to my home and verify the mattress was not what was listed and ordered. He could not even guess at how such a low quality mattress had a Beautyrest sticker applied.
I have tried to resolve this with Aleasa for over 6 weeks now and she is no longer replying to my emails or phone calls.
