I'm a manager for a car rental company. I hear and read complaints as to why a customer is charged for damage, extra charges, fuel etc. But yet I see so many customers sign rental contracts without even reading them and NOT inspecting there car before they leave. I also notice many customers dont even PAY ATTENTION to simple signs showing them where to return a rental car and yet they turn around and say the return process was confusing and disorganized all because they didnt pay attention. The same goes for customers that wants to know why there being charged for this or that when really theres a full explanation as to why there being charged this on there legally binding contract THEY signed. Yet we are rudely told by customers that we are crooks and scammers all because they made the mistake themselves of not carefully reading the contract or they are making up excuses to get a free ride and will say or do anything to get it. Granted there are mistakes made by companies alike but who says alot of them arent caused from the customers own misunderstanding? Before you sign ANYTHING and act all dissatisfied about your product please carefully read "terms and conditions" for that is why there posted.
