Do NOT be fooled by Carefree Energy Solutions in Simsbury CT. We signed a valid contract with the company for vinyl siding. About 2 weeks after the contract was signed, we were told that the sales rep measured wrong and they wanted $6, 000 more for the job or they would cancel the contract. We have been in touch with the sales rep and he has proof of the correct measurements for our house which was confirmed by another company that those are the correct measurements. The owner decided after our contract was signed that he wanted to charge more money for the siding. This has been done to at least 3 other people at the same time as us. Whatever you do, do not sign a contract with this company or even have them give you their sales pitch or you will end up either wasting your time as we did or spending way more money than you bargained for.
