I parked my car at about 9 am in what looked like a valid parking space at the far edge of a KMart parking lot and adjacent to a Budget Rent-a-Car. I rented a car at Budget and returned to retrieve my vehicle at about 4 pm the same day (some 7 hours later) to find my car was gone. I called the posted signs to Caroline's towing and was told my car had been removed at about 11 am, some 2 hours after I had parked it. I now have to travel a significant distance and pay at least $150 to retrieve my vehicle even though there was nothing to indicate my parking there was unauthorized.
