Worst company ever
Carringtons Kitchens
Worst company we have ever dealt with. Lack of communication was unbearable. Most units had to be moved or replaced once installed as in wrong place, damaged, even upside down.
Fitter only worked approx four hours a day, when he was bothered to turn up - which was less than 50% of the time, whilst we waited around or left the house unlocked.
Office staff at Carringtons did not know if fitter had arrived and, if he did not, had no idea of his whereabouts.
When we finally got hold of the kitchen designer and asked why he had not answered any of our emails, telephone calls or texts, he told us he was keeping his head down as he knew we were having problems.
After several emails listing outstanding issues we were told that they we're having meetings to discuss and rectify, we were then advised that no one at head office knew anything about our issues.
After several months with an unfinished kitchen we gave up and paid someone else to finish the job.
Turned an expected few weeks upheaval into several nightmare months, we wish we had never given our hard earned money to Carringtons.

PLEASE DO NOT BUY!!!!!
I have similar experiences with this disgrace of a company. For anyone who needs further confirmation on how shoddy this company is, I have a catalogue of texts, emails and thankfully recorded telephone calls to confirm their shocking service. We all need to report this shoddy bunch to Trading Standards. I am doing that this month! PLEASE DO NOT BUY. You have been warned.

Absolutely awful after sales service
Absolutely awful after sales service! Kithcen fitted 12 months ago in that time a third of the doors have fallen off. the taps have had to be replaced and the oven is defective. Despite numerous attempts to get them to come and repair the defective items thye have refused unless we pay a £75 call out charge to come and look at their shoddy workmanship.
Avoid them like the plague!

Very poor service
Following a visit to the showroon to browse a designer pounced on us to arrange a home design visit. We were pressured into putting a 2k deposit down on a 7K kitchen that was not going to be installed for a year. We rang the guy the next week to be told he had left the company but were told not to worry it will be overseen by another designer. Time came to have it fitted and we soon discovered following a survey of the site that the kitchen would have to be re-designed which we did to include a breakfast bar. The time schedule for the fitting was 3-5 days and they sent one 65 yr old man who couldn't even lift a cupboard and told us it would take him 6 days to fit. This fitter was rude, crude and kept spitting on the floor of the kitchen and only worked 4 hours a day with fag breaks every 20minutes! Half way through the fitting we noticed that the breakfast bar, a feature of the kitchen was not there. We went into the company to be told the designer has ommitted it because he would have to use a new length of worktop (extra cost to them) but without consultation with us. We have tried to contact the owner of Carringtons Kitchens and left numerous messages but no reply. They have also informed us that we will have to pay extra for the gas hob to be plumbed in and we have paid for a fully fitted kitchen and was never informed about this previously when we ordered it. They actually have advertisements to say designed, manufactured and fully fitted by Carringtons. Now they expect us to pay the fitter but we are not happy. We already paid for the kitchen on credit card. We are getting no response from the company and keep getting fobbed off by receptionists. We are refusing to pay the fitter as we are not satisfied but dont know where we stand with regard to the law.
