I recieved a phone call on 2-21-11; first of all from a "WASHINGTON LAW OFFICE", They stated that there was a lawsuit against me from a company called "CASHNET.COM", because of a unpaid loan in the amount exceeding $4000.00, i told them that this was impossible because i don't owe no $4000.00 on a cash advance loan. Now i did do a cash advance loan for the amount $200.00, the total was $240.00 which was automatically withdrawn from my account 11 days later. that was 5 months ago, so this law office tells me that i have to call this Shawn Reacher from CASHNET.COM and straighten this out because they told me i was going to jail the next day; so i call this shawn character which he had an accent and a very bad temper with me right off the bat, he's yelling at me telling me to shut up and listen or else!!, so i listen to him tell me that this can all be settled if i just give him $500.00, via debit card- credit card before the day ended (5 pm).
and everything would be settled and i would be given a confirmation # to prove all has been settled, i said fine and hung up and immediately called a lawyer and went online to see if there were similar stories like i just encountered and there were ALOT!!, so my lawyer told me to call the police and tell them what i told him so i did and they told me that i was'nt going to jail and that this was a scam or rip off whatever you want to call it, and the police officer took the number from me and told me i had nothing to worry about and that he would be getting a hold of me by days end and that's where it's at right now. i now one thing i'll never forget this ever!! thanks alot shawn!! DICKHEAD!!.
