Zoe Tice, has been the most kindhearted, gentle and knowledgeable breeder I have ever encountered. My husband and I lost our three year old dog August 29, 2011. Shortly after, we decided to add two puppies to our home. After speaking with Zoe and other breeders about their breeding programs, my husband and I decided to go with Zoe, we felt that although she was selective in whom she placed her pups with, she was also very knowledgeable and sympathetic to our loss and the needs of the puppies. Since our first conversation, I felt like Zoe was a close friend. Zoe took her time with us, she took time getting to know us and understanding what our needs were, what type of puppies would work best for our personalities and our busy lifestyles. Most importantly, she was with me every step of the way during my grieving process. I was a little unsure about getting two puppies at once, but Zoe assured me she would be with me and I could call at anytime before 8pm of course!!!! Who does that ??? Noone, most breeders don't care and may allow you to call here and there but not for the lifetime of the dog. Our litter was born, August 23, 2011 and it would be several weeks before we could bring them home. During that time, Zoe sent us weekly pics up until they starting started walking and, If you have ever had puppies, you can understand why. Eventhough we didn't get pics after they started walking, I spoke with Zoe each week and she updated us on their growing process and funny moments during the week. She worked with us, during the horrible snow storm in October, which delayed us in picking up the pups, but Zoe came to the rescue and kept them even longer than anticipated. When we picked them up we left with an instruction manual, two puppies and toys for the ride home. I have continued to call Zoe weekly sometimes bi-weekly with ton of questions about the puppies. She always has answers and is willing to repeat things over and over if needed. You cannot go wrong in selecting Castletop Cockers as your breeder. I have the most well mannered, sociable, and relaxed 12 week puppies.
