Be aware when dealing with CCN Alarms on the Westcoast. Christo has installed my alarm in my holiday home in Yzerfontein in 2006 as well as an automated garage door system. He has been back a few times after many calls to fix it, but the garage door still does not operate, and the alarm system has blocked out my telephone. I have reported this to him after he was there to 'fix' the two systems. I have paid the account (07072009) promptly without testing (I live in Cape Town). My telephone has been out of order since then, and my garage door is not working. I cannot recharge my telephone (pre-paid) and Telkom pointed at the alarm system as the problem. After numerous phone calls to his cell, his office in Vredenburg and e-mails, he still has not contacted me, or rectified the problem. It is now end of October, so it has been nearly three and a half months without any success. I think this is outrageous!
