If you get a call from a Mr. Frederick J. Marshall, Senior Loan Consultant of Cedarwood Equity Group or any other person supposedly representing that company, do not call them this is a fraudulent company. Their motive is to scam you out of your money with the pretense of approving you for a personal loan from a lender. They ask for money up front to secure the loan or as collateral to go towards your monthly repayments via wire transfer. Don't get taken, if a loan company asks for any money up front, it is illegal. They pray on people with not so great credit and promise the world. Their contract/agreement even looks legit. If you were to wire them money it goes somewhere in Canada. FYI: I have reported this company as fraudulent to the Federal Trade Commission, the FBI ID Theft Hotline, Phone Busters; based in Canada, the Consumer Protection Agency and PA Banking; the address that they give is located in PA.
