Fraudulent Charges
This company is fraudulently charging unknowing individuals $9.99 for SMS (texts) they never signed up for, even if they enter "STOP" in the reply they will continually text you knowing you will probably just delete it without responding "STOP" every time.
That's what happened to me. I never signed up for anything online but started getting a text from Celebrity Squares. On the very first 1 I received I replied "STOP" hoping to just stop the spam texts (didn't even know that whether I responded or not I will be secretly charged on my carriers account). I didn't realize the charges until 2 months after they had charged me. I called them to figure out how this happened and if I can get a retroactive refund and the Rep.'s response was, "Sorry 'mam but it is not our company's policy to issue refunds". Boy, did this start the "customer is always right" fire in me. Not until I mentioned I will report them for unethical and fraudulent practices did she tell me she will give me ALL the charges incurred in my cell bill.
Bottom line, any one can go to their site type in any cell phone # and ta-da that unknowing individual is hooked into it. It won't matter if you reply "STOP" future texts/charges they will continue to do so. So, don't bother going to their website or you might also unknowingly get hooked in it. This company is the worst kind of parasite that prey on the unknowing...

Charging me behind my back
As an i phone user and someone who texts on occasion. I texted one of my local radio stations here in Los Angeles, and after that, then received a text from this "Celebrity Squares" organization. It was some game that you play, where they send you a text and then you text them back the answer and you are supposed to win some big prize. (blah, blah, blah!) Well, I guess I agreed to try it or something to that effect and then I continued to receive texts from them. Then today, 28 June, I called my cell phone provider, (AT&T) as my bill was too high. To get that resolved and in doing that, I found out that, Celebrity Squares was billing me $9.95 a month for playing their game. Now, the REAL COMPLAINT IS I HAD NO IDEA I WAS BEING CHARGED FOR THIS BLANKING GAME THAT I REALLY HAD NO INTEREST IN ANYWAY. THIS IS A SCAM!!! CELEBRITY SQUARES IS A SCAM!!! As a final note, I did have AT&T cancel it from their end and I am no making known this dishonest scam, Celebrity Squares. Sincerely, Stephen

Charged Cell Phone Acc., Falsely
In trying to access a free sheet music site (public domain music) I was charged $9.99 by simply completing the "create account" form that supposedly allows you to access the site. The immediately called and complained when I saw the text message that seemed to indicate I had been charged. They refused to give me their corporate office phone number which they said is in Henderson Nevada. An obvious scam.
