It is unacceptable how many incompetent people are employed at the Cell C call centers!!
My cell was in for repairs twice both times ranging from 6 to 8 weeks to be repaired for the same problems experienced the first time it was sent in. I pay monthly for the insurance cover and finally after 2 weeks of being on the phone to various Cell C operators I finally got a loan phone which was delivered to my office and my existing Cell Phone taken in for repairs at the same time. I get back to the office today and find the repaired phone dropped off at reception and now I still have the loan phone. I have made 2 calls to firstly 142 to enquire as how do I now get the loan phone back to cell c? And the paper-work dropped off with the loan phone does not tell me if it is fixed? I am asked to call 084145 options 2 where I relayed the same questions to the operator who then decides to ask me a string of security questions!! I mean really are they just stupid, I then said to him does he not understand that I WANT TO RETURN the loan phone and that these questions are irrelevant? He then says that's there's a lot of fraud, I mean really FRAUD when I AM trying to GIVE BACK the loan phone?? Incompetence is all that I have received over the past month from Cell C and I have been a loyal customer for years now. I mean I am on a business package and pay for insurance, if I lied and said my phone was stolen then is would have been replaced in a day! Due to the EASY and seemingly the ONLY route being the "fraudulent" way of getting things done I don’t blame customers for making up stories. I personally think that it is appalling dealing with people that cant check there system and refer to the history of the client. So what do I do now with the Loan Phone????
If I am anyway billed for this loan phone there will be hell to pay!!!
