Ripping of Client
I took my brand new Nokia E63 in to the Cellc shop to have it fixed after something fused and i was unable to see anything on the screen. They fixed it for me and i had to pay in R500 to collect my phone (it was still under warranty) 3 days after the collection it gave the same problem and it was still under the warranty as they just fixed it 3 days ago i took it back and they told me i can just aswell through away the cellphone it is no use fixing it. Being naive and not knowing anything of cellphones i believed them untill i spoke to another guy working at a cellphone repair shop and he told me I will be able to get the phone fixed he fixed it for me and it is still working... So how well trained is the staff at CellC or are they just out there to rip the clients off who is not up to date with the cellphone repairs?? It actually makes me so angry to think that i was going to leave my cellphone with them thinking it could not be repaired again and they could have fixed it at no cost to them and sold it or just keep it for themselfs..

Bad Servicr
Its now almost 2months that i took my cellphone to Cell C and its still not back. I am paying Cell C but the service they provide to their customers is bad.Every time i phone the repair center they just tell me they are waiting for HTC. If we all had to wait for this to be done nothing would get done. Every time i post something here Godfrey replies with a response and promises to phone back but never does. If people did their jobs at Cell C and followed up on issues you would not have so many unhappy customers. Your service is getting worse and worse everyday. I regret ever doing business with Cell C they are the worst. If they cant fix my phone, replace it or cancel my contract whatever that suits them but don't keep on making me pay for something i don't have. I have even spoken to the supervisor at the repair center who sounded half asleep when i spoke to him, he just told me my phone is with HTC. I had to tell him what to do and escalate the matter further . I will make sure this gets to the Cell C management to take note of their incompetent stuff.

no service no contract no phone
i applied for a contract on april 26th and i still have no response, every time i call they tell me that they don’t have my application on the system!!! i have spoken to numerous amounts of people from a number of departments, Teboho, Lebo Happy, Lesage. i am getting fed up. All i want is my phone to be delivered and set up. Why don’t the staff there know what is going on. There is a link missing in there communication chain! Will someone please call me with a follow up and i want this sorted out today please!!! Now i am not wasting my time anymore. i already have an existing contract with you and i will go to Vodacom, i have never had a problem with them before i changed to you. They people dealt with are rude and have no clue what they are doing!!! i was finally told that my order would be sent and i will receive me phone in 3 to 7 workings days. i have no trust that this will happen. Prove me wrong and i think about keeping my 3 contracts with you.
i am so fed up with your service i could scream. first my internet is not working and with fail has not been fixed by cell c then this, i don't have all day to sit and talk to people that have no clue what they are doing!!! i expect my phone by me on Monday. i wanted to speak to a director and was told that he does not talk to the public? Well perhaps the newspapers will speak to him. i am at the end of my tithers here!

bad management
bad management at cell c highveld mall Witbank (highveld Mall). cell c employed a young lady (20) as a manager to run the cell c store in witbank! but she is not fit for the position she is in! she is never at work when a client needs to see her, nor she is at home or it is her day off! she is going to be the down fall for that store! i think it is it is unfair to leave her staff members alone in store to do her job for her and run the shop! as manager she must be in store by all time to help when help is needed and to be there to suport her staff members but insted she is never in when we need her and the times she is in store she desides to go home early! emails was send to cell c head office and the so called manager is stil not doing her job so i think you sould give her the boot and get a REAL manager that is willing to do the job! in fed up with the bad management of cell c in witbank

unauthorized debit
I renewed my 125 control contract in Desember. They made a mistake and put me on casual chat. The phone is for my mom who never really uses it as she can make free calls from work. An amount of R389 was deducted and i contacted them in Jan. Since then i have struggled to get the correct contract and now i receive sms that R255 will also be deducted on the 15th, so that brings the total to R650 in two weeks. I will never take out any contract with them again and will spread the word about there poor service and taking money from people as they can not rectify the problem. I also have a contract with Vodacom now for 10 years and not once i had a problem. Cell C is pathetic

Bad service
I am very dissappointed in Cell C!! On the 1st of April 2010 I went to my local Cell C shop, very exited, because I could finally update to a better phone. I order my new Nokia 6230 that day and today, 19 days later, I'm still waiting for my phone!! All that the shop could tell me today was that the people(who-ever they are?) said my phone will be here tomorrow. That was the same thing they have told me for the last 6 days!!!

AIRTIME
Guys please do something or i am out of Cell C. Why your call charges this much? I can't tolarate to make a single minute call for R8.00. This airtime issue started since you cancelled your free calls on weekend or are you trying to replace theu money! please do something cause at the moment i 'am using two networks and experiencing a huge airtime problem with you. I started using two networks after this airtime problem and i dont recharge Cell C cause it will be a call, afterwards a message, ( YOU DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH AIRTIME TO MAKE THIS CALL) ooh Please!

New Contracts
I am very disapointed as i took out a contract with cell c last week, first of all i applied for a spesific contract were you get 2 phones for the price of one...So i waited 7 days and they delivered, but only one phone!!! I phoned cell c and questioned it only to be informed that they made a mistake and that they would place another order for me where i must wait 7 days again.On the day of the first delivery they came to me asking me for a proof of residence, so i give them the proof with my adress details that i gave to cell c on the day i applied for the contract, then the delivery guy tells me the adress on my account and the one from cell c did not match, so they made another mistake by putting on the wrong adress.I had to go to the police station for a athidavid to receive my phone.I am still awaiting on my second phone!!!

BAD SERVICE
For one month now my mom 82 years is without a telephone. First the signal was gone, then they were installing new towers then this then that. Then promised to be working tomorrow then the next day and so on. Eventually last week the technician came to our home to check the signal and reported that it was fine he thought we needed to do a sim swap. After going to cel c outlet in Ballito and Umhlanga gateway neither suggested this option. So off we go back to Cell c in Umhlanga Gateway. Apart from the arrogance of the employee it was clear that he was out to provoke me and refused to do a sim swap I had to pay R140-00. Upon asking why because it was not my fault he said that he was only an agent. He refused to give me the number of the cell c head office and gave me an undertone direction that only he would understand. I am sick and tired of dealing with incompetent people. Could you please train your staff properly so that we can get the service we are paying for. You are not doing us any favours Mr Gateway employee you are getting paid a salary from the money I am paying for a service. Could someone please arrange a sim swap for me so that we can fix this problem.
