It was with disgust today when I purchased Escom Electricity for a friends business in Norvalspont and compared it to my purchase from Centlec for my business at Gariep Dam. Gariep Dam is in the Free State and Norvalspont is in the Northern Cape, 8 km away. My voucher valued at R100.00 buys be 96.0 kWh and I receive no free units. The first R100.00 voucher obtained for Norvalspont at the beginning of each month gets you 131.1 kWh PLUS 50.0 kWh FREE, in other words, a whopping 181.1 kWh!!!THAT IS ALMOST DOUBLE THE ELECTRICITY FOR YOUR MONEY. Someone, anyone, please explain this, I have the proof in front of me!!!Centlec is robbing us.
