Overcharged Credit Card
This company gets your credit card number and instead of charging just the authorized $2.95, they send you additional products you didn't order and charge you over $42.00. Then, if you complain to them, they make you pay to send back the product you never ordered if you want a refund. I still haven't received my refund and I sent my unordered products back ten days ago. Do not do business with them. The Better Business Bureau of Largo isn't taking any more complaints against them because they won't respond to the Bureau on pending complaints.

Fraudulent Charges
Central Coast Neutraceuticals
1888-692-8352
After received numerous emails from Central Coast Neutraceuticals on September 2, 2008 I decided to finally order the AcaiPure capsules. It was only $4.95 for shipping and handling after all, for the trial. If I didn't like it, I could return it within the 30 days. I received the bottle, but didn't open it, as I am allergic to fennel, which is an ingredient. I returned the shipment the next day, and tried calling to cancel, well within the 30 day period. I was unable to get through to anyone and sent an email to their customer service, and received a reply that my account was cancelled. While checking my statement today, I noticed two charges from Central Coast Neutraceuticals. One was from Sept. 22 and was for $39.95 and the other was from October 8 and was for $44.90. I was furious, as I had the email confirming cancellation, so I called the company to question why I received these charges. I spoke with a man who was quite possibly the rudest, most condescending man I have ever spoken to in my life. He began by basically telling me I didn't cancel, there was no record of me cancelling and I was a liar. I have a 15 month old daughter, who was fussing while I was on the phone, and so I had to speak louder so he could hear me, and he told me to stop yelling at him. I told him I wasn't, couldn't he hear her? He said yes, and told me to get her to shut up if I wanted help. Nobody tells me to get my daughter to shut up, and I expressed just that. He began belittling me, telling me I was several unsavory names, I was just trying to "milk the system" and he wasn't going to help me. At this point I was quite upset and told him he had no business speaking to me that way, I was trying to get the charges cleared and my daughter was being fussy because she is sick. He ended the conversation telling me I was lucky he listened that long and good luck getting a refund since he was making notes on my account to this effect. He then hung up on me. I called back and reached a wonderful woman named Jessi, who apologized profusely, telling me that their conversations are recorded and he would be dealt with. She then actually HELPED ME by telling me that they hadn't cancelled my account, but she cancelled it then, and the charges were from the first bottle they hadn't received (I have a tracking number, and will track it down) and they had sent a second bottle, but she would take the charges of as soon as I sent it back and would take the other charges off for the other bottle as soon as I supply the tracking number. I won't have to pay the restocking fees, either. Thank you, Jessi for all your help.
For everyone's benefit, I began this with the number I called which was on my credit card statement and was able to get through right away both times. I noticed that many others had problems before with their customer service number, and am not sure if this one is different than others, but I called at 7pm EST and it worked. Good luck to everyone with this number.
