Central Coast Nutraceuticals, Inc. Reviews

Overcharge
My complaint is identical to many, many I read on your complaints page. I ordered a free sample o Acai Pure Trial, to pay shipping only which was $4.95. When my order arrived, they sent gum and hoodiawater(whatever the heck that is) and charged my account $44.85. When I tried to call to get a Return Merchandise Authorization, the wait was over 45 minutes. This is truly a scam. How in the world am I going to get reimbursed. They said I cannot return it without the RMA. Please advise. I am very unhappy about this.

over charged
I ordered Acai Pure as a trial sample and was sent two other items and my credit card was charged $48.. I returned the two items that I did not purchase and asked for a refund. The next month I was sent another bottle of Acai Pure which I did not order and once again my credit card was charged $44.90. Because we recently moved, I did not receive the order within the time frame to return it, so I am stuck with the product and a charge to my credit card. I tried to contact Central Coast and was on hold for over an hour, the sales person I spoke to said that I could not return it but they would submit the paperwork to take my name off of the monthly mailing list, BUT they had already sent the next month's supply and to return that for a credit I would have to call back, when I am doing right now and it has been over 90 minutes, and they would provide me with the information to send the Acai Pure back. I thought it was only a trial sample. How do you get your money back and have them stop sending the stuff????? HELP!!!

Received/charged for products not ordered
Order Number: 1299680 I ordered one product that was supposed to cost $1.00 and agreed to pay $1.95 in shipping and handling charges. They billed my credit card for $42.85 and sent products that I did not order. I have notified my credit card about the incorrect billing. I have tried a number of times to call without success, waiting long periods of time. I am willing to return the product, if I am sent a pre-paid envelope. I am considering contacting the Michigan Attorney General's office about this matter. They also (less than 2 weeks later) have sent my another mailing. I will return it to sender. I want all shipments to me to stop. Thank you.

shipped product and billed to my credit card without authorization
I must say, this business (Central Coast Nutraceuticals, Inc.) is pretty sneaky!!! I received a tube of the celebrity smile today (unauthorized) and now am on hold (37 minutes and counting) to receive an RMA #. No where did it state in reading your advertisement did it say, or, would I have ever agreed to be placed on automatic shipment!!! I received my so called "trial tube" and, with one application, I experienced tooth pain and stopped any further application!!! I figured with the high shipping charge, we were even. Today I just received another tube---without authorization and will have to go through the pain of securing an RMA--if I ever get in touch with anyone! I will also have to possibly bear a 15% restocking fee. Beware!!!

Unauthorised debits from my account
I ordered a 'free' sample of acaipure, only agreeing to have the small postage fee deducted from my account, big mistake. I got the sample, but then $88 was deducted from my account and even though I emailed them to say I demanded my account be credite, they offered me a mere $15.oo which I declined. before I could advise my bank of this, a further $44.95 was deducted. Their answer to my query, was that I had agreed to a membership. I didn't, not was I shown an invoice when 'goods' were shipped as to hoqw much they cost, otherwise I would never have agreed to it, I am a pensioner on a limited income. I returned the package, which they said that they never received. I have since instructed my bank to cancel my accounts and it is now in the hands of their fraud department. If you want to keep your money in your bank, do not request anything 'free' from these people and keep your banking details to yourself alone, beware!

acai Pure Trial
I ordered the acai Pure trial offer which amounted to 4.95 my account was then billed $44.95 and also
was sent 2 products I didn't order and have no use for. When I try to call, I receive an message and then
they just hang up. You cannot return the product marked "return to sender" you must have a "return Merchandise Authorization" number which you can't get unless they answer your phone call. First of all,
they never mailed me the product until well after my original purchase date and then say you have to return it before 30 days of the original purchase date. Scam scam scam. They now have billed my account
another 39.95 for what I don't know. I have cancelled by account now and hopefully will be rewarded the second amount for something I didn't receive. I would like to know my options I doing something to this company.

Also, charged my account without authorization
I was in the Salon reading a magazine an ran accross this ad for Acai Pure: a cleansing/dietary suppliment, with this hige concentration of the Acai berry...so, I signed up for a trial offer, not a free offer. I had to pay the special, introductory fee via a credit or debit card. The trial size bottle came and the invoice only indicated the amount of the trial size bottle, a return address(in case you want to return the product), a customer service number(which is a waste of ink...no one ever answers, no matter what time you call), and the hours of supposed operation. There was no indication that additional monies would be charged using the credit or debit card previously used, in the magazine ad nor the invoice that came with the trial size bottle. Maybe the Central Coast Nutraceuticals Inc. thinks people will try it, get hooked on whatever's in the product and not notice they're them blind. MY ACCOUNT WAS DEBITED OVER $40.00 PRIOR TO MY OPENING MY TRIAL SIZE BOTTLE. THEY'RE UNREACHABLE BY PHONE. I FEEL LEGAL STEPS SHOULD BE TAKEN TO SHUT THEM DOWN. I ALWAYS READ THE FINE PRINT! THERE WAS NONE!!!
