overcharged will not return money
I order the free sample for 4.95 on 10-29-08 and a few days later I received the product along with hoodia gum and hoodia water with no paperwork which I know I did not order for I am very sensitive to Hoodia. That day I went on line to do some banking and imagine my surprise when I saw that my account was debit 44.95!!! I tried calling but was on hold for over 45 minutes only to be disconnected. I immediately emailed and received an auto-generated reply stating that I would hear back within 48 hours. After re-sending the email several times stating that I did not want the product I finally heard back on the 19th of November which was one day after my 14 day grace period to cancel my membership. They did state that I could send the product back but only would be reimburst 15%. I asked for the order form to be sent to me via e-mail to see if I did order the wrong product but all that was sent over was the order form (blank) from the web-site. On the 18th of November my account was once again debit 39.95 for the product and yes per there membership agreement I would be charged and automatically sent the product after trying the product for 30 days. I have been fighting with this company ever since asking for my 39.95 back. I was never sent the second shipment and they are refusing to refund my money. Stating that I did not look or read the agreement correctly. This company is a scam and I encourage people to not use them for this product. I will continue to fight for my money and will fill out a complaint with the better business bureau. I have never experienced anything like this and feel fully taken advantage of.
