I put a $300 deposit in a car, a Jeep Cherokee, which was for sale
for $12, 000. The Blue Book value was $5400. The next day, when I found out, I went back to get my deposit back. The salesman, who was dirty and missing a few teeth, refused to give me back my deposit. The only thing that saved me was that he had forgotten to
have me sign a contract saying the money was nonrefundable, and
had given me a receipt. The owner, who was also trailer trash,
yelled at the salesman for being stupid. After I threatened to take
them to court, the owner refunded me my money. They are liars
and thieves. The cars are junk. My friend, who went back with me
who is a mechanic, checked out the jeep. Turns out it needed a new
transmission and tie rods. No warranty was given for this overpriced car. Do NOT deal with these morons.
