Seems I've been lucky; I ordered an Archos AV420, with speed delivery, and though it took 5 weeks, about 15 e-mails, fictuous routing numbers and a lot of grief, I did receive my order. Seems they import illegally (with false custom declaration) from the US; the package said it containted a 'used CD player valued at US$30' when it was a US$ 600 item!

I suspect they buy 'fallen off the truck' items in the US and ship them to Europe to customers ordering via their British or French website.

Note that I really needed the item so I ordered it at Archos themselves as well on 12 Oct and they delivered on 14 Oct; now THAT is service! I've given the CheapDealz one to my partner and use the other one myself; whenever you see two people on a plane huddled over identical and very expensive Archos gadgets, chance is it's us two :)

So though I did receive my order, I will never buy at Cheapdealz again, as it'd be murder on my blood pressure...
