I purchased a used certified Chevy pickup from Sands Chevrolet, (16991 W Waddell Road, Surprise, AZ 85388), back on 11/20/2009. The truck in 6 months old and still has the factory warranty for another month. I was currently shopping around for a extended warranty through the dealerships. I made a selection on one to purchase the warranty from. They came back and tell me that they can’t sell me the warranty because GMC put a warranty block on my vehicle back on June 2009. I was never informed this from the dealership I bought my truck from and now I can’t purchase a warranty on my truck, because they with-held information on the day I purchased my truck.

I spoke with the dealership on 5/20/2010 and the service manager told me that there nothing he could do and that when i brought the truck in for warranty work back in January, he found out that there was a Block on the warranty, but never informed me about it at that time.
