After that, the roster's overall ratings are the worst they've ever had. The Bulls backcourt is taking huge hits, as Alex Caruso, Coby White, and Dosunmu have all been slashed to a point at a time when all the evidence suggests they'll be better next season. Dosunmu's 76 overall rating is particularly egregious, as his All-Rookie status was just announced. Also, All-Rookie Second Team guard Josh Giddey posted roughly equal performance when compared to Dosunmu (and was dominated by Ayo in head-tohead contests) as a player, but was awarded a much higher 82 overall rating.

The rookie Dalen Terry was also given a shambolic 71 overall rating which is below even the former Bulls Matt Thomas, Denzel Valentine, Troy Brown Jr. and Tomas Satoransky. Three of these players aren't even in an NBA roster and the fourth one is a minimum "prove the idea" contract. He'll be joining the other three players if he doesn't step up significantly.

I'm not expecting Terry to step up and shine right away, but putting Dalen below these players is quite absurd all things considered.As all things considered, 2K has rated the Chicago Bulls in "Tier 2" this means they're not one of the league's top 10 teams. Ironically, the Lakers are one of the 10 teams in Tier 1. in spite of how messy their roster design has been the last two years.

Ultimately, Chicago's 2K rating isn't a factor in the way they'll play as a team.
