I can't belive this Goverment office I am a single mother with a 12 year old daughter ; I have applied for food stamps and medicade on October 11, 2010 on line. They send me a letter on September 20, 2010 and it instructed me to apply before October 15, 2010 to be able to recive my November assistance. I applied and had everything set for my daughter for her to start on a new medical plan. I called and checked at the end of October my benefits with health choice everything was fine on the begining of November I took my daughter to the doctor they told me my madicade was closed.. I called they DCF they told me they did not notify Medical choice that my daughters madicaide was open. now my daughter was not able to see the doctor 48 hous after because the system had to send the message to medical options. now my daughter has to wait till December for her to be enroll on her plan.. my food stamps are always deposit on my BET card on the seventh of every month well they have not giving me my food stamps. I called three more times in November two times they hang up the phone on me when I asked for a supervisor and told me i need to wait another 30 days..???? I hate this system I have done everything they asked me to do sumitted everything on time and now I can't buy any food and have to have my daughter sick cause she can't visist her doctor till December. this is abuse I have my rights.!!!
