Our regular mail carrier has suddenly developed a problem with our dog, after 3 years. He was our carrier when we got her at 10 weeks. To date, we received no explanation, as to why he suddenly feels our dog is dangerous. She has no access to the front of the house & it is made sure, she cannot escape. This was sudden & now the Post Office has decided not to deliver our mail ever again. This has been ongoing for 3-4 months & we still don't know why. We have been given options, PO Box, forward to another address for 1 yr or get rid of our dog! 15 yrs in the same house?, NOT GOING TO HAPPEN, ANY OF IT! How can they do this? What gives them the right to hold mail, without notification, explanation or reason of any kind? I have been threatened with law enforcement, I now have 2 weeks to figure how I will receive my mail, then after the 2 weeks, they will proceed by sending all the mail back to sender! I cannot believe USPS has this kind of authority! Shouldn't this be considered THEFT OF MAIL, INVASION OF PRIVACY & VIOLATING OUR RIGHTS?!. I am at a crossroads & don't know what to do. Can someone advise? Thanks
