I have been a customer of Kmart for many years and have always been pleased with the service until tonight. I purchased a christmas tree for 161.17. The cashier advised me they could not take my check and several people in line looked at me. I went and used my credit card knowing I had more than enough in my checking account. I called the 1 800 543 5074 number and talked to a lady named Katrin . She checked throughly and adivsed me there was not a reason they should not have taken my check. The reciept number of my purchase was 07444 120307 006 08427. It just was very disappointing to me to be in such a situation and I know it is a busy time of the year.
