I purchased a chromcraft solid wood table and four chairs ($1800) in December 2009. The table arrived and the color of the pedestal base was totally different from the table top as well as the chairs. This was also different from the wood sample. The company replaced the top to an "acceptable" color difference. The quality of the finish on the table top was terrible. It appears there is only one coat of finish and it had "soaked into the wood". After three months the finish was peeling off the table. Chromcraft says it is water damage and they are not responsible! The store where it was purchased, Ingrassia Furniture Rockford Illinois, will also not stand behind the product which they are selling in their store. It is impossible to contact Chromcraft directly as their website refers you back to the dealer. I would never deal with these people again. A manufacturer as well as store that will not stand behind there products is a disgrace!
