I checked my credit score off the internet through the "freecreditreport" web site and it specifically stated that the report was free unless I signed up. When I asked for alternatives, they told me the first check was free and then I was given a phone number to cancel the service within 9 days of receiving the report. I did this immediately and stated over and over again though the gentleman tried to sell me all kinds of discounted services that I was not interested and only wished to cancel the service entirely. He told me it was cancelled. Yet a billing is on my Capital One account for $24.95. No what??
