Unfortunately I find out some things are scams after the fact. Luckily I have come across the Complaints Board site. I check here (along with the BBB) before I do any purchasing that seems too good to be true. I don't want to sound like a sucker because there are a lot of great legal bargains that can be found online. I ordered a Dr. Who ultimate collection that was a great price. After receiving it was apparent that they were bootlegged. Some were copies from published DVD sets and some look as though they were recorded from the television. Most of the episodes are there. There are some disks that are tweaked and unwatchable. A few were duplicated and a few were empty. All attempts to contact were futile. I have learned to be more careful. I am glad there is a place to state a case for others to read and be made aware. Thank you Complaints Board.

I ordered the complete barney miller set and none of the dvds play properly.

For one thing they were recorded form TV Land episodes, that wouldn't be so bad, but they don't play without skipping and stopping.

A complete rip off.
