Threatening letter
I also received a threatening letter on March 25, 2010, that if I didn't pay the $133.95 I would be sent to collections and it would affect my credit score, blah, blah, blah... I will not pay that amount!!
It's true that I didn't cancel right after 14 days from ordering (I just procrastinated) the bottle had been seating at home unopened. Later after reading more online to find out more about the product, list of ingredients which it lacked, I refused to use this product because I didn't know what was in it! After reading online and coming across complaints from others and the hassle this created, I realized I had made a mistake by being sucked into this scam and what scum of a company I'm dealing with. I wish I would have researched more about it before jumping in and ordering. See this website for product review: http://www.colonhealthmagazine.com/colon-products-review/colon-cleanse-3000.html.
But I did call my bank right away and CANCELLED MY CREDIT CARD with which I ordered online (good move!). That way they were not able to charge my credit card (which they did, try!!) and having to deal with all the hassle of refunding, etc, which unfortunately so many other people have had to deal with. I did have to call the company and talked with a rude customer service person. I told them to cancel and not charge me any more future charges which, by the way, didn't happen, they still tried a few times to unsuccessfully charge my credit card (I'm so glad that I was quick to cancel). I returned the (unused) product to them, mailed it the same day but apparently it took them another month to process the return! I thought I was done with them. Wrong!! 5 months LATER (after my calling to cancel) they send me a letter in the mail threatening me to be sent to collections if I didn't pay the said amount. I was so upset. I waited 'til the next day though to call so I would be calm and collected. I refreshed my memory of their claims (online) and "MONEY BACK GUARANTEE" statement, and other complaints people had on this website, which was really helpful to know I was not alone. So I called the number 877-537-2434, which is by the way their "recovery center", spoke with the on-floor-supervisor. I asked him (calmly) to tell me what they show on their record. I wrote everything down, all the important dates. Then asked to tell me when they received my product (1 month later than when I sent it back), wrote that down. I reminded him of the "money back guarantee" and that I did call w/n 30 days (actually, 5 days past the 14 day trial period) to cancel and returned the unused/unopened product to them and I should not be charged anything. So, he says that yes, he can see that and he told me to dismiss the letter and he will credit that money on the account. So I asked again, if I should somehow receive another letter like that, I should ignore it?! And he said I shouldn't be getting any more letters like that. I got a confirmation # and the name of the person I talked with. Somehow this seemed just "too easy" to me, based on past experience and what others have said on this website, so to cover my end I will be writing a letter back to them with the notes from today and a copy of their threatening letter and mail it by Certified Mail. That way I have proof later, if need be. We'll see if they stick to their word, or if I need to take more steps in contacting BBB and other federal agencies. Curiously enough, have you noticed that their website has this message: "ColonCleanse3000 is no longer taking new orders. We will continue to service our existing customers". Hey, maybe they are being taken off the market! That's good news so nobody else will be scammed, hopefully. Good ridance!!

coloncleanse3000 This is a rip-off group, this I know first hand, they charge your card without you knowing it or approving it. And wonder what is in the bottle after you get it, and you can’t return it.
No Kidding, I dare you!
