I bought there pot to use in my home upon getting it home I washed it before first use.I then proceeded to cook a large pot of chilli in this pot, when I realized the heating element on my stove had melted clear through the bottom of the pot. thus not only burning the chilli but ruining the heating element on my stove. I was able to return the pot to the store I purchased it from (KMART) but I am stillout the product that was ruined in the process so I then tried to call the manufacturer and as I had suspected to no avail so I am out the cost of the ingredience as well as the cost to replace the heating element that was ruined. K-Mart says there responsibility ends with the return of the product They do not stand by the products they sell in my opinion something shouldve been handled by the store and they should deal with the manufacturer. I realize that I will be out the cost of the products that were ruined but feel this very unjust and unfair in this day and age every penny counts and I as most other people in the world cannot afford to waste a penny on ruined food caused by faulty products. Not to mention the cost of the new heating element.
