Cox Communications ca;;ed me on the phone in May of 2010 and offered a monthly price reduction of 15/monthly if I agreed to an annual contract not to change providers for one year. I told them I would think about it, and the representative said alright, a third party would call me later on that night. When the third party called, I made it clear that I didn't want to be tied to a contract. He was supposed to be recording the conversation, so they have me loud and clear saying "NO". My family income has dropped now, so I called to reduce my secondary services, and was told I could drop the secondary services, but my primary services would almost double if I did. I am paying almost 200/monthly for services and it is destroying us. I have also noticed that my rates have gotten progressively higher since May 2010. This company is out of control, and needs to be stopped.
