This machine was first purchased to carry overheaitng problem, casuing machine hanging or total shupp-down all out of sudden . This problem persits and beocem more and moer serious happening many times in day, rendering the laptop virtually useless . Strongly think it is a cheat by HP / Compag and their trade-off for their good market repuation for allowing such batch of bad product carrying their name to enter in the market. Very disappointed beign betrayed by them. Seeign seas of such overheating complaints on internet agasint this Compaq laptop series, I am thrilled to see why the HP management do not take some action to remendy the hurt in the consumers, which bear mcuh weight for their own long term commercial interest.
