I contracted CompeteSoft in March of 2008 for what was supposed to be a 7-week project. One year and thousands of dollars later, I have yet to see workable results. Not only is the work excessively late, but the current version of the project is riddled with errors (system bugs, misspellings, etc.). To make matters worse, the project I submitted to Competesoft was delegated to miscellaneous (unknown) developers in Argentina, so I have no means of contacting them or communicating with them (they do not speak English) and working through the technical issues of my project. To top things off, my project (which I paid IN FULL over a month ago) is being held "hostage" by the developers until I give them more money. I have had no choice but to hire another developer at an additional cost to make the project functional, as well as hire an attorney to pursue this matter in court. For one whole year, I have been lied to, given the run around, and missed out on tens of thousands of dollars of revenue since my business was inoperable. I sincerely hope that other potential clients of Compete Soft read this review and look elsewhere for development work.
