I received a notice to extend my (Old) car's warranty (even though I sold my old car almost 7 months ago) through Consumer Protection Services. Although I already believe that extended warranties are a ripoff, I called their number to see if there was any way I could be removed from their mailing list or to let them know I no longer have this old car for which this extended warranty offer was subject to. I got an answering machine that was full and couldn't let the company know I don't have my old car anymore and was not interested in receiving further mailings from them!
