I subscribe to Country Living magazine which is put out by Hearst. They have a sweepstakes where you supposedly can go online and register and win a million dollars or so. When I went online to enter the sweepstakes, the online website signed me up for a second subscription and there was no way to stop this! To say this is a sweepstakes contest is misleading and deceptive because what it really is, is a sneaky way to make you take their magazine. Now, I'm getting billed for a second subscription and their email to me saying "pay your bill" has no way for me to communicate back to them and explain this problem. You'd think a company as large as Hearst wouldn't do something this stupid, but they have.
