Electric string trimmer model #74547TY1, I purchased this Craftsmans item through an auction site advertised as a customer returm which was almost new and the first time I used it realized that it had no safety switch, after cutting a while I laid it down to move something out of the way and as I picked it up by the handle it immediately started and the bottom being heaviest swung inward across my instep and made a severe gash, The second use I hit something pretty tough which made the string extend almost two feet and struck me across the shin and left another gash. As former service technician for Sears I Washington D..C. for seven years and most of my life spent on service work I have to tell you this is without doubt the most dangerous yard tool I have ever encountered and its being under the name of Craftsman is a real insult to many fine tools which I have used over the years.
