Had a credit card with them for the last 2 1/2 years, paid up at the end of the month, 2nd month over at the most. They did continuous credit increases without me asking, and then I go to pay the account off and they closed my account. My sister paid the account off with a lower interest rate credit card (Bank of America 2.5% interest). Bank of America didn't pay the check and gave us notice because my name was not on account. I contacted Credit One and they told me to pay $50.00 for the minimum payment. I then, two weeks later, sent them a check for the remaining balance, which the customer service people had no clue about (975.00). I got a supervisor on the line (Keith) and he states they closed my account on 6/4/07. No one stated anything to me, no letter, no phone call etc.. I stated to Keith that I don't get a notice, he tells me because they are on the West Coast, it takes time to contact me. This is July 2, 2007. I tell him what are you doing closing my account after 2 1/2 years with on time payments etc.. and he states "well the card did what you wanted it too". I stated, thats not the point, I have built up with your company and you close it. I want to talk to your supervisor, he tells me that no supervisor above him is there, this is 4pm western time. I tell him that I want to talk to the next person and he tells me he'll put me on a call back list. Two days later, still haven't heard from anyone. Don't do business with them, they are fraudulent and crooked. If you check Better Business Bureau, after I file a complaint, you'll see these people are rated a FFFFFFFFFFF which means they are taking part in fraudulent practices.
