broadband,
I bought cricket broadband and have had it for some time. Recently I was working alot of hours. They say my payment is due on the 17th . I dont understand that cause there is no contract. They advertise and also speaking with them, its month to month based on thirty days of service. I paid on the 24th last month and on the 17th this month they turned off my service. When I called they said no your payment is due on the 17th to keep service. when I tried to tell them there is no contract they say well thats when it was set up on so thats when its due. I thought I could go with out service then that is it or get it agin if I wish. So when I bought on 24th i thought my service would last till 24th of this month.to top things off I cant find out info to contact corporate office . Every no. I dial gets no one on line

CHARGED FOR CANCELED SERVICES
I recently attempted to purchase phone service from cricket wireless phone service; but was not able to due so due to services not being available in my area!
The phone attendant asked me if I wanted to have a chicago illinois number, where services would be available!
My old cricket phone number could not be ported, so I was advised to purchase a new phone. Upon not being able to purchase a new cricket phone in my area; I requested that my attempted purchase of phone service being canceled; and the $60.00 of initial start-up be returned to my debit card account!
After contacting your office on numerous occassions through phone and fax; as of this day September 19, 2010, I have not received my refund.
Please address this matter, and swiftly refund my $60.00, thank you!

Photos, calling, etc.
Uggh. I hate cricket..it was better than my last AT&T phone, for the fact that I was charged 20 cents for sending AND recieveing. But dude, come on. The phone always drops the calls, when my phone is charging but about to die..it STILL dies on the charger. DX When I have a new picture, it only says "You have a new Multimedia Message. View it now at.." and all that other bullcrap. But that's the thing, when I do, this stupid crap comes up saying "Critical Error." I cannot wait to switch. I shouldn't be complaining but this phone SUCKS. I keep getting recycled numbers and everytime I use it there is not one time when the roaming messes everything up. [facepalms herself] Don't..get..a..cricket..paygo.

BroadBand
Started with getting a "Warranty" on my non existent Cricket cell phone. Had one it was canceled a year ago and phone was returned to Cricket via their instructions. In August, 2010 I re activated my Cricket Broad band for my laptop. August 26, 2010 I receive in the mail a "Extended Service Contract" for my non existent wireless phone from Federal Warrant Service Corporation, P O Box 105689 Atlanta GA 30348-5689. With Cricket Communications, Inc., 5887 Copley Drive, San Diego, CA 92111 on the warranty. Sent e mail to Cricket trying to explain get a boxed e mail saying they are researching my problem and I can call 1800cricket. Try calling and you get stuck in Auto answer loop. It just keeps asking for my broadband number and when I enter it it says oh that's broadband press two and then enter you broadband number etc. I just want a human person to resolve this stupid warranty which I NEVER ordered in the first place!! If you use the contact us on their webiste you just a form and not much room to complain. HELP

I purchased a cricket broadband card from Walmart. I activated the card online thru cricket . They offered a free 2 day trial in which time I could not get it to work properly. When I activated I paid $50.00 mfor unlimited service. I continued to try to get it to work but could not.I called cricket within the 2 day period and disconected the service, I was told at that time that my card would not be charged. A few days later My card was charged for a service that was disconnected.I tried on the phone to get it resolved but was told I could not get a refund. I went to the local Cricket corp store. They show in their computer where the service had been disconnected and had no usage. but I was told I had to have a reciept from walmart where I returned ths device I don, t know many people who keep receipts fpr refunds. It should not matter since they show the service disconnected during the free trial period but they refuse to refund my money. Why do I have to pay not only for a service that did not work but also one that had been disconnected. I think they are just theives.

extremely poor custormer service
Hi, all,
Having had one-and-a-half mind-numbing hours on the phone with a series of gentlemen almost certainly located in Bangalore, I feel it a civic duty to warn all of you (and please pass it on) not to have anything to do with CricKet, Inc. Their commercials make them seem like a cheaper alternative to other broadband carriers, but please believe me, it ain't worth it.
To put it as briefly as possibly, back at the beginning of my contact with them, the first thing they did was to lie to me in telling me I was in their covered area, someting they definitely knew was not true. After accruing two weeks of empirical evidence to that effect, I decided to take action. After several hours on the phone with a series of nice men with moderate to strong South Asian accents, I finally got someone to agree that since I was out of Cricket's service area, I could, at my own expense, return all materials to them for a refund, and my account would be closed (although one would think this was automatic, I can't emphasize this fact enough, i.e., that by mutual spoken agreement, my account was closed). I was refunded the price of the hardware only -- all postage was out of my pocket, which I could live with. It took several weeks, but the refund showed up in my account.
Several weeks after *that*, 3 days ago to be exact, I got a "regular monthly charge" of $43.18 from Cricket deducted from my checking account. I talked with 7 people at their customer service over 90 minutes. They denied they had charged me, they denied I had an account, they denied I had ever closed an account, they said that they would not remove the charge unles I gave them the serial number on the device I'd returneed two months before, and when I exclaimed that of course I didn't have this number since I'd closed the account and returned said object, I would be unable to comply, and that *surely* they had some other way of accessing my closed account, they denied anyone with my name, address or phone number had ever had an account with them. I congratulated them on having the worst, most incompetent customer service in the history of the universe, and slammed down the phone.
After taking some migraine medicine, I got on the phone with my bank, and they said that given my documentation of my exchanges wth the Evil CricKet, they would have no trouble getting the money back, and they would credit my account immediately.
If you've been tempted to sign up with Cricket, DON'T. As far as they are concerned, once you're in, you're in for good, even though they will insist you don't exist (quite a logical trick, no?); and actual crickets could do a better job of customer service. Be afraid -- be very afraid.
Best to all -- and I can't wait to read the accounts of Pazfest!

Lied to and charged extra
I added picture messaging for $3 extra which they told me was the cost to add it. Every feature you add to your phone is $3 more to your monthly bill. My cell phone bill was around $42 or so but now it went up to around $60. They did not warn me about extra charges and are stealing money from me. If they didn't lie the bill would be around $45 but since they did, it went up to an outrageously $60 something! Cricket users, beware if you want to add more features to your phone.
