Fraudulent Credit Card Charge
They screwed up my reservation, making it for the day before I was actually supposed to arrive. Then, they had the audacity to charge my credit card for the night they said I didn't show up for. So, they make a clerical error with my reservation and I have to pay for it? The customer service was horrid when I tried to straighten out their error. The hotel guest services guy passed me through to International Hotel Group customer service. Then, that lady passed me through to another lady at guest relations. Then, that lady put me on hold, so she could talk to the hotel. A complete circle. She came back after having me on hold and told me the general manager of the hotel was going to charge me for the night I didn't stay, claiming the error was on my end. What? I didn't make the clerical error, they did! Avoid this hotel like the plague. They will fraudulently charge your credit card and their customer service is the WORST! Not only will I never again stay in a Crowne Plaza, I will never again stay in ANY Intercontinental hotel, which includes Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Holiday Inn Select, Hotel Indigo, and Staybridge Suites. I have tens of thousands of Priority Club points, but I am going to allow them to expire, because I won't even redeem them for free hotel nights, because I wouldn't be caught dead in a hotel which fraudulent practices and horrible customer service.
