Unauthorized Charges

Somehow this company got my name, address, and credit card number. They enrolled me in their "membership" program, charged two separate amounts to my card, and sent a membership package to my home. I had never even heard of them! I have disputed the charges and put a merchant "block" so they can't do it again. As far as I am concerned, this is identity theft and I wish I could do something to stop them from doing it to others.

Fraudulant monthly charges

Early this year I received a call from Crystal Vision offering very low prices for ink cartridges for printers. I paid 19.99 by American Express for an initial membership charge, and was told this would become a credit for my first order of printer ink.

I bought one ink cartridge recently as a test, but by the time I'd paid shipping the cost was about 2 dollars less per cartridge than Best Buy or Staples' prices.

However, every month an unsolicited CD has arrived, but the information on this is of absolutely no use to me and I have always discarded them.

Today I find that for seven months I have been charged 19.99 for "Software" on my American Express, so have been conned so far of $140. I'm a 78-year- old pensaioner, and any advice you have will be much valued.
