March 17, 2010 I signed up for a personal trainer at a fitness center. I ask for 3 months of training and they quoted me a price. Once I left the facility, the person who signed me up called to tell me the rate quoted was incorrect. He said he would add on several more days of training at the end of the 3rd month. They initially charged my CC in the amount of $406.00. Since I signed the contract in March I have had a trainer for 4 or 5 times. MAYBE. I was promised 3 times a week with a trainer. Each session last no more than 20 minutes. The times I've been has always overlapped with another persons training time. Recently, the company charged my card $360.00. I have paid $766.00 for services I am not receiving. I have experienced the exact same as the others who complained about Custom Built. Including the calls 2 or 3 X's a day from a Ms. McVay. I will never sign another contract with any company offering personal training services. I will hire a trainer and pay as I go with a commitment of 3 to 6 months. Don't know how this company can get away with this type of bad business.
