DayStar Pets was hired to care for my two cats while I vacationed last week. A contract was signed to come daily to care for my two cats. Care to include feeding/water/litterbox for the week I was on vacation. 7 days. 9/11-9/17. I returned home on 9/18 to find the pet sitter never came. My cats had to receive emergency hospitalization for 24 hrs as a result of their negligence. Cost of $1037.94. Daystar Pets has not reimbursed me for this cost & is not making any arrangements to do so. I do have documentation they have accepted responsibility & intend to pay the bill, but refuse to make solid arrangements to do so. They claim to be bonded & insured, but have not offered to file a claim for the bill to be paid through their insurance either.
